Adolescence – Teen Age Years

For most people, the term “adolescence is synonymous with “the teen-age years.” And since the two generally occur together, this is a workable enough equation for most practical purposes. But it should always be borne in mind that
adolescence represents a process, rather than just a time span. It involves a period during which an individual undergoes rapid and extensive change, not just physically, but sexually, mentally, emotionally, and socially as well.
